Cancellation & refund policy
Simple rules. Clear expectations. This keeps scheduling fair for everyone and keeps your progress consistent.
Bottom line: Give 24 hours notice to reschedule. Lesson credits never expire.
Gift cards are non-refundable.
Lesson cancellation
- 24+ hours notice: reschedule or cancel without losing the credit.
- Less than 24 hours notice: the lesson credit is forfeited.
Reason: last-minute cancellations can’t usually be rebooked, and they block the calendar for other students.
Expiration
- Lesson credits: never expire.
- Gift cards & coupon codes: expire after 1 year.
Refunds
Regular lessons
- Before the lesson takes place: full refund available.
- After a single lesson: if you’re unsatisfied, you can request a refund for that single lesson.
Gift cards
- Non-refundable.
- Transferable to another student for guitar, piano/keyboard, bass, or songwriting lessons.
Purchase errors
If you made a purchase by mistake or you’re unclear on a policy, email within 24 hours of your purchase confirmation for a full refund.
Include: your name, the item purchased, purchase date/time, and what you’d like to do (refund or reschedule).
