What the night is

“State & Motion” comes out that morning. That evening we play it front to back at Echo - Taste & Sound, a bar and vinyl listening lounge on South Main built for listening to records properly. Almost everyone in the room will be hearing it for the first time.

  • 6:00 PM Doors Vinyl and CDs on the table. Seats aren’t assigned, so come early if you want a good one.
  • 7:00 PM One song, acoustic To get the room going.
  • 7:10 PM In conversation with journalist Kristen DiChiara How the record got made. About twenty-five minutes.
  • 7:35 PM The record, front to back All ten songs on Echo’s system, lights down.
  • 8:20 PM Acoustic set A few songs, then I’ll stay and talk.

Getting there

Echo - Taste & Sound is at 1301 South Main Street, Las Vegas, NV 89104, in the arts district a few blocks south of Fremont. Parking is metered on the street. Twenty-one and over.

Seats aren’t assigned, so come early if you want a good one. Vinyl and CDs will be on the table.
