Teaching Guitar at UNLV for Fall 2014 Semester

After finishing my first semester teaching at UNLV, the school has decided to renew my teaching contract, so I will be teaching weekly lessons again at the music school for the Fall 2014 semester.

Prospective students can now sign up for one-credit, half-hour lessons (MUSA 158, 1003-LEC(87467)) or two-credit, full-hour lessons (MUSA 158, 1004-LEC(87468)). College students at all levels are welcome to sign up athttp://my.unlv.nevada.edu/. Generally I help my students resolve issues related to playing guitar and show them how to achieve the skill set necessary for a proficient musician. Emphasis is placed on sight-reading, melody, chords, flat-picking, finger-picking and song forms. Though my lessons are technically classified as ‘guitar for non-majors’, I have also been expanding my lessons to include songwriting and producing the students’ original material if he/she is interested. As always, I also offer private guitar and piano lessons to non-UNLV students via Skype. If you have more questions, please feel free to message me via Facebook or through the "Contact" page of this website.
