August 2025 Recap: An Unforgettable Month of Music

Hey everyone,

What an incredible August! I'm still processing everything that happened this month, and I wanted to share the highlights and some exciting updates with you all.

OPENING FOR THE KILLERS IN NIAGARA FALLS

The month kicked off with an absolutely unforgettable experience—opening for The Killers at Fallsview Casino Resort in Niagara Falls. Playing a solo acoustic set for 5,000 people was surreal, and I'm so grateful to the band and their team for the opportunity to share their stage and announce the completion of my second solo album, State & Motion, with a planned release date of 2026.

The full solo acoustic performance is now available to stream on YouTube! Huge thanks to Sal N. for capturing it all on video so we could share it with you.

FIVE NIGHTS WITH

THE WALLFLOWERS

From Niagara Falls, I jumped into an incredible week opening for The Wallflowers across the Southwest. Sharing my solo material with new audiences reminded me there's far more connection and positivity in the world than the news and feeds suggest. The energy and genuine warmth from audiences was incredibly uplifting. Special thanks to Jakob Dylan and the Wallflowers team for this amazing opportunity.

Special thanks to Greg Adams

Special thanks to Greg Adams for exceptional lead guitar work and harmonies throughout these shows—and for being the perfect road companion (we absolutely demolished a Tom Petty audiobook on the drives between cities).

MUSICAL DIRECTOR IN ASBURY PARK

As a musical director, collaborating with musicians who bring clear vision, dedication, and joy to their craft is unmatched. Every arrangement and transition we crafted in rehearsal truly came alive on stage

Immense gratitude to our phenomenal cast: Jeff Beyda, Ted Salame, Jody Laboz, Jammel, Edson and Issy. You brought the house down. Thank you to everyone who filled that room with incredible energy.

EASY’S SPEAKEASY AT THE ARIA, LAS VEGAS STRIP

Back home in Vegas, I returned to Easy's Speakeasy inside the Aria Resort & Casino on August 16 for an intimate 10pm set right on the Strip. There's something special about these smaller, more personal shows that perfectly balances the energy of the bigger stages.

What's Next

Coming off opening slots for both The Killers and The Wallflowers this month, plus the musical director experience in Asbury Park, I'm feeling incredibly energized and excited about what lies ahead. My immediate focus will be on finishing my album and resuming a regular teaching schedule.

Stay tuned for new shows and updates on the horizon. After a month like this, I'm more motivated than ever to keep creating and connecting through music.

Thanks as always for listening, supporting, and showing up. It means everything.
